Jacnique Nina’s latest single is a breathtaking, soul-stirring cover of Stevie Wonder’s timeless masterpiece “Love’s in Need of Love Today” from Stevie’s legendary Songs in the Key of Life album. Released on October 10th, 2025. Produced by Hitmaker, Preston Glass, whose credits include Billboard chart-topping classics for Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Natalie Cole, Earth, Wind & Fire, and more. This release captures both the urgency and the healing power of love. With her angelic, emotive voice and commanding artistry, Jacnique Nina reimagines this song for today’s world, affirming her status as not only a powerhouse recording artist but also a visionary force in contemporary music.

“Love’s in Need of Love Today” arrives at the cusp of her induction into the California Music / American Entertainment Hall of Fame, a milestone celebrated in full shine on November 15th, 2025 at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, CA — affirming Jacnique Nina’s place as one of the most luminous stars of her generation.

2024 was a banner year for both Jacnique (pronounced zha-neek) and her fans/friends. In 2024, Jacnique Nina was inducted into The Akademia Music Awards Hall Of Fame, on May 18th in Los Angeles, California. Jacnique has also won the Las Vegas and Los Angeles Black Music Awards 2023 People's Choice Award. Jacnique was also nominated for The Black Music Awards (Las Vegas) in the categories of Best Female Jazz Artist, Best Vocalist, Best Live Performer and Entertainer of The Year. In addition, Jacnique has received an Akademia Music Award in the category of R&B/Soul for her luscious, Smooth R&B single entitled, “Thank You (For The Way You Love Me)”, released on March 2nd of 2023. Jacnique also recently received an Akademia Music Award in the category of Rock for her scintillating single entitled, “Bad Habit”, released on February 7th, 2023. She also won the Akademia Music Award for Best R&B/Soul song for her retro R&B/Pop single “This Is The Life” featuring Ricardo Love and Phat Ca$h. Jacnique wrote all of the lyrics to these three singles, as is her custom. The music was written by her longtime writing partner & extraordinary Music Producer, Recording Artist and Radio Producer & Host, Ricardo Love. Jacnique Nina is planning to release many more new singles and albums, including duets with Howard Hewett and Temptations tenor, Ron Tyson, on her new record label and film company, Love Jacnique Nina Music And Film Media. 

On February 14th of 2021, during the pandemic, Jacnique released the 25-song anthology/mixtape Audio Portrait of Love, overflowing with highlights from her previous albums, singles and EPs. This collection represents Jacnique’s personal favorite songs from her catalog culled from her debut album Trial by Fire (produced by Ricardo Love), the Rise in Love EP, her second album Eternal Love, and her third album Wish of The Heart (the widely acclaimed music project that began her collaborations with Preston Glass, leading to airplay around the globe including Sirius/XM’s Watercolors channel and also making the coveted Allen Kepler “Smooth Jazz Top 100” chart, as well as charting on independent Smooth Jazz and Soul music charts in Europe. Highlights include “Believe in Love,” “Audio Portrait,” “The Reason,” “Toy Box,” “So Sweet” and her lyricized duet version of Kenny G’s “Songbird” (with lyrics penned by Preston Glass) featuring Phillip Ingram of Switch on vocals and trumpeter, Willie Bradley. The perfectly titled Audio Portrait of Love anthology was the first release on Jacnique’s record label and film company, Love Jacnique Nina Music And Film Media - available as a digital download on her website, LoveJacniqueNina.com. Jacnique is also developing her own podcast and internet radio station. Jacnique owns most of her music catalog. Love Jacnique Nina is also the title of her forthcoming, brand-new TV show, in development, which will be available for viewing on Roku and most platforms, featuring soulful conversations with iconic music artists and outstanding independent music artists.

Marketed as “The Sensationally Soulful, Jazzy, Sultry Siren,” Jacnique is the winner of the 2023 “People’s Choice Award”, bestowed upon her by the Los Angeles Black Music Awards. She has also recently been honored by The Franklin Awards (of Las Vegas) with their 2023 “People’s Choice Award”. Jacnique Nina is the winner of the 2021 "Rising Star" Akademia Music Award. She was also nominated for the 2020 "Jazz Artist of The Year" Akademia Music Award. Jacnique is the winner of three 2020 Los Angeles Black Music Awards: "Best Female Jazz Performer," "The People's Choice Award" and the “Lena Horne Award." She is also the winner of the 2020 Akademia Music Award for its “Artist Vision Award” (honoring exceptional talent, originality and vision in the field of music). In addition, Jacnique is the 2020 Akademia Music Award Winner of “Best Jazz Song” for her song “So Says the Fool,” the 2019 winner of SeemssAfrica‘s “Africa Meets the World” Awards, “Best Singer/Recording Artist,” winner of the 2019 Akademia Music Award for “Best R&B/Soul Album” for Wish of The Heart, and the 2019 Akademia Music Award honoree for its coveted “Executive Award.” In 2011, Jacnique won the Los Angeles Music Award for “Producer’s Choice, Jazz Album of The Year” for her debut album entitled, “Trial By Fire. The Los Angeles Music Awards “Producer’s Choice” award has been won in other genres by No Doubt, System of a Down and The Black Eyed Peas.
